A few days away

I'm taking a few days off work to travel across to Cyprus. I'm meeting up with a very old family friend who can no longer make the trip back to the UK. I've known Betty Kirk all my life - she was a very dear friend of my dad's mum - it was only recently that I discovered that she was 95 years' old - even more impressive when you realise that she'd been making annual trips to Sussex up until last year. It will be very good to see her again. I've not been to Cyprus before so I'm really looking forward also to seeing the island for the first time. Unfortunately, I'm not there for long, and will be flying back to Gatwick on Sunday night ready for the 6am easyJet flight back to Edinburgh early on Monday morning. Never mind. It's just good to get a few days away.
