Those of us who grew up on a diet of BBC children's television will no doubt be sorry to learn of the passing of Tony Hart. Whether it was Vision On, Take Hart or Hart Beat, we could learn how to draw and paint in a simple and light-hearted way. Tony created the original Blue Peter logo, and was also responsible for Morph (and Chas)! He retired a few years ago to Shamley Green in Surrey, and had been affected by two strokes which meant he was no longer able to create any new art.

Tony Hart RIP
