I've turned on the television many times over the past week to see stories of how the country has been paralysed by snow. Roads have been closed, airports at a standstill, schools shut... you get the picture! And you then get the usual backlash of how the UK isn't prepared. I don't know what the fuss is about... yes, there's a bit of snow on the distant hills, but in my part of Edinburgh, we've had nothing that's settled.
It's not particularly cold either. Maybe global warming is actually happening at a micro-climate level?
